For over 25 years, I've worked in the flower industry helping companies grow through strategic planning and a human perspective on productivity.
Born in Colombia and raised in Ecuador, my journey in the flower industry began at 19 as a single mother given an opportunity in the service department of a rose farm in Cayambe. Those early years shaped my understanding of people—how critical it is to observe talent, empower others, and lead with clarity, kindness, and example.
I rose to Sales Manager roles at multiple Ecuadorian farms, where I learned that leadership is measured not just by results, but by how you cultivate people through encouragement, discipline, and presence. If you lead with passion and direction, people follow.
Later, I took on a new challenge in Los Angeles at Holland Flower Market, where I began in rose procurement and grew to help manage the entire operation alongside my then partner. I treated every department—from receiving to sales—as a system to improve. I trained teams hands-on, restructured processes, and left behind a legacy I’m proud of: many of those systems are still in place today.
In 2019, I moved to the Netherlands and entered an entirely different floral ecosystem. Working with European clients, navigating the auction system, and adapting to new market behaviors gave me fresh tools—and pushed me to launch my career as a global consultant.
My work expanded into Kenya, where I developed sales strategies for a flower farm entering new markets.
I collaborated with teams across production, post-harvest, and sales to create new product lines for brokers, supermarkets, and wholesale clients. I also began working with a breeder client, gaining firsthand experience in variety selection, launch planning, and trade show presentation.
Today, with experience across four continents and a full-spectrum view of the floral supply chain—from breeder to retail—I help businesses grow through strategic clarity, operational structure, and people-first leadership. Now based in California, I bring global insight and deep industry commitment to every project.
